Markforged X7 Features
1) MarkForged™ Technology
Formed from the combination of two materials, composite parts are incredibly strong and versatile. Our unique fabrication process enables you to print parts that are an order of magnitude stiffer and stronger than typical 3D printed objects.
2) Performance Engineering
Exceptionally strong, supremely stiff, ultra lightweight, and incredibly versatile — X7 parts deliver unparalleled performance without compromise.
3) Outperform Aluminium
Continuous Carbon Fiber parts stand up to the toughest applications. Stronger than 6061 Aluminum and 40% lighter — these parts are perfect for manufacturing equipment, jaws, tooling, and end-use parts.
4) 50x Faster, 20x Cheaper
Directly replace machined aluminum with parts straight off the printer. Parts are work-capable and ready the same day for a fraction of the cost.
5) Powerful Software
With automatic version control, real-time fleet management and cloud-based collaboration, Eiger is the world’s most advanced 3D printing software. Designed from the ground up to make manufacturing simpler, Eiger enables you to print plastic, metal and composite parts straight from your browser.
6) Touch Screen Interface
The Markforged Mark X Composite 3D Printer has a built in touchscreen that makes it easy to connect to wifi, start prints and manage your printer.
7) Precision Design
The Markforged X7 Composite 3D Printer print bed clicks into place with 10 micron accuracy – allowing you to pause a print, remove the bed, add components, click the bed back in and then continue the print in the exact same position.
8) Large Print and High Resolutions
The large build volume of the Markforged X7 Composite 3D Printer makes it ideal for robotics, automotive parts, functional prototypes and prosthetics. With 50 micron resolution layer height, your parts will come out of the printer with a beautiful surface finish approaching the look and feel of injection molding.
9) In Process Inspection
The Markforged X7 Composite 3D Printer gives you breakthrough quality and precision in 3D printing. Scan your parts mid-print using our cloud-based Eiger software and a laser displacement sensor affixed to the print head. Ensure dimensional accuracy at the most critical tolerances at any point in your print.
10) Print As-Designed Parts With Known Precision And Tolerance
Define a tolerance specification in Eiger, our cloud based 3D printing software, and the X7 will scan your part while it’s printing to ensure that it always meets the spec. If an error is detected you will be alerted and can choose to cancel the print remotely, saving time and material.
