Get to know about 3D Printing for Sign & Display market

Nike opened its largest store in the world, which is located in Dubai, in the Dubai Mall. The store is 68.000 square feet and offers an amazing view to the Dubai Fountains and Burj Khalifa.

For this store, Nike was looking for some amazing displays in a chrome finish. A Dutch company specialised in chrome finishing was assigned to design and create these display props.

One of the displays is an Arabic sentence which says “Victory, Love Dubai”. The sign was designed by Jeroen Simons and was 3D printed on the Builder Extreme by us and our reseller Lay3rs from Eindhoven. The sign is 3D printed in white PLA with a 0.8 mm nozzle and a layer height of 0.5 mm with 5% infill. After printing, the sign was post-processed and transformed the white letters into a shiny and chrome display material.
